His name appeared eleven times in the Sciptures. Nine times in the Epistle to the Hebrews, once in Genesis and once in Psalms.

Seven marks of Joseph's Exaltation (Gen 41:42-45)
1. Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand (His Power)
2. Arrayed him in vestures of fine linen (His Person)
3. Put a gold chain about his neck (His Position)
4. He made him to ride in the second chariot which he had (His Prominence)
5. They cried before him, Bow the knee (His Pre-eminence)
6. Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; (His Purpose)
7. He gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On (His Partner)
Seven steps of the Lord's Exaltation (Phil 2:9-11)
1. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him
2. And given Him a Name which is above every name
3. That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow
4. Of things in heaven
5. And things in earth
6. And things under the earth
7. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
It was mentioned in Genesis 39 four times that the Lord was with Joseph (vv 2, 3, 21, 23). Six times Joseph's hand were referred to (vv 3, 4, 6, 8, 22, 23). He was indeed "a prosperous man" (v2), "a goodly person, and well favoured" (v6) and "which he did, the Lord made it to prosper" (v23).
