Thank for your comments. I missed the phrase "Father of mercies" in 2 Cor 1:3 but I am aware of the phrases "Father of all" and "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ".

I am not keen to make a list of seven. A list of five or six will be good as five is a numeral of grace and six is a numeral of man. By the grace of God, fallen man can become children of God, calling Him, "Abba Father".

The Lord said, "I will ascend to My Father and your Father". There is a distinction in relationships of His Father and our Father. Is not this the reason for the seven occurrences of the expression "the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"?
