God's Character
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17

God's Calling
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." Ephesians 1:17

God's Care
"A Father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in His holy habitation."
Psalm 68:5

God's Chastening
"Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?" Hebrews 12:9

God's Consolation
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort" 2 Corinthians 1:3

God's Control
"One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Ephesians 4:6

Can I make it seven for you ? :-)

1. God's Consolation - "Father of mercies" (2 Cor 1:3)

2. God's Control - "Father of all" (1 Cor 8:6, Eph 4:6)

3. God's Christ - "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom 15:6, 2 Cor 1:3; 11:31, Eph 1:3; 3:14, Col 1:3, 1 Pet 1:3) - Incidentally, 7 occurences of the phrase "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ". Food for meditation regarding another outline.

Thank for your comments. I missed the phrase "Father of mercies" in 2 Cor 1:3 but I am aware of the phrases "Father of all" and "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ".

I am not keen to make a list of seven. A list of five or six will be good as five is a numeral of grace and six is a numeral of man. By the grace of God, fallen man can become children of God, calling Him, "Abba Father".

The Lord said, "I will ascend to My Father and your Father". There is a distinction in relationships of His Father and our Father. Is not this the reason for the seven occurrences of the expression "the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"?
