If I may suggest a 6th occurrence in Eph 5:2. KJV is "given Himself" but it is actually the same greek word as "gave" in Gal 2:20 and Eph 5:25. RV is "gave Himself", JND "delivered Himself"
Hence, in the context of Eph 5:1-2, He gave Himself a sacrifice to God, to keep to the alliteration.
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
